Awesome Dude Invents A New Drink (he thinks)

March 15th 2008 08:30
Alright people here it is, the brand new drink invented by Awesome Dude, the most awesome dude around.

It’s called the Martini Entree. If you didn’t catch the martini recipe left in the Basic Training (Moonee Valley Hotdog) comments for Jarrah (that guy stuck in the eighties) then I’ll do a quick recap.

Always, I repeat ALWAYS leave your martini glasses in the freeza. Two parts Gin, one part Vermouth, throw it in cocktail shaker with a whole lot of ice, shake it round for ten seconds, then grab your awesomely cold martini glass out of the freeza and pour, top with three olives.

Now the Martini Entree is basically the same, but instead of three olives you put in four, and the awesome bit that turns it into a Martini Entree, four cocktail onions, or if the corner store didn’t have the cocktail ones, like in my case, use the big ones, but just put in one.

Awesome Chicks elegant hand

Alright I assume you've figured out why its called a Martini Entree, anyway for the losers... nah I'm not even gonna say.

Fun fact No3- Five Martini Entree's and you've had a meal! (it's true)

I like my martinis a little different: 3 parts gin to 1 parts vermouth (vermouth can overpower), and stir it a little longer. No shake!

But, yeah, I could have 5 for dinner...

That is truly awesome. I think you should just keep the idea of the big pickled onion, in place of the little ones. It just seems to have more class. Also after several martinis it becomes increasingly more difficult to thread them onto a toothpick. You might think about recommending people use the green or red ones - it's less of a choking hazzard. Really awesome meal idea.

Incidentally, I don't think pickled brain is good for you, but someone else might find it tasty.

yes i know what you mean Kim Lock it does get hard threading them on to a toothpick, sometimes when i'm feeling really brainy i prepare some earlier so there is no time wasting.

and katyzzz, well i was once the leader of a nomadic tribe in mongolia but when they found out i had a phobia of large walls, i was banished to china, they threw me over the wall i feared most.... oops i think i pickled my brain.

ah well
