Alright people, I haven’t been around for awhile had to sell my LJ two door coupe, made a tidy 400% profit. My first sale on eBay, thanks Barry, even though you and your mate looked like scum, you knew the value of a 1972 Lj Torana coupe with no engine, no gearbox, no boot and NO RUST!! I hope it runs a 10 one day...
Lasagna is so easy a retarded dog could do it... I should know, I been called a dog and my girlfriend thinks I’m retarded.
Basically all you have to do is a make a Bolognese sauce, a white sauce, buy some lasagne sheets and assemble. Bang!! It’s fucking done. So for all the spastics out there we’ll do the step by step.
What you need-
800gm of minced beef
One big brown onion chopped
Bout eight good size mushies sliced
Big Capsicum whatever colour you want chopped
4-5 cloves of Garlic crushed
One chilli chopped finely
Olive oil
Salt n pepper
Two cans of crushed tomatoes
140g of tomato paste
Some thyme and oregano
Couple cups water
4 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons of corn flour
Around about 3 cups of milk
Pack of lasagna sheets
Cheese for the top bout 2cups
What you do-
Brown onion garlic and chilli, then brown mince, season, throw in mushy and cappo. Then the tomatoes and tomato paste, rinse the cans with water and pour in, simmer for half an hour. Add herbs at the end.
When it’s nearly done start making the white sauce. There are a few different versions of the white sauce, mines piss easy. In a small saucepan throw in the butter and corn flour and over a medium heat stir until it’s a nice paste, then pour in milk and whisk until it thickens. Done. Some people put in cheese, but you don’t have to.
Alright the assembly. In your lasagne tray pour some mince in the bottom then layer the sheets on the mince, then some more mince and a little white sauce, then the sheets again. Repeat until you get to the top then whack on cheese and some more herbs. Whack it in the oven at 200c for 35 mins.
Now lasagna is always best the next day, it’s not as sloppy and the flavours seem more pronounced, so here’s a trick my mum told me. Cook you lasagne a little earlier than usual then take it out and let it sit for half hour or even an hour, or even in the fridge for a couple of hours. Then reheat it in the oven for about 15 mins. If you put it in the fridge you will probably have to put it in oven for 30 mins.
Alright serve.
