Awesome Dudes Awesome Steak and Baked Potato with Mushroom Gravy (and salad)

Alright people, here’s the deal, I’m awesome you’re not. It’s true.
So I was sitting there yesterday after eating my BBQ dimmeys, and I thought, I want a baked potato for tea tonight, and maybe a steak... and I’ll throw in a salad to keep the boss happy.
So this is what I whipped up.
What you need-
3 porterhouse steaks
3 big potatoes
Carrot
Avocado
Capsicum
1/4 Onion finely sliced
Some lettuce leaves
Lemon
200gm of sliced button mushrooms
2 cloves of garlic crushed
Tablespoon of cornflour
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of beef stock
Salt n pepper
Olive oil
What you do-
Wrap your potatoes in foil and put in a pre-heated oven at 160c for 3 hours, or put them in the microwave for ten minutes then in the oven for an hour. They taste better if you do the three hour deal.
Chop up your carrot and capsicum into bite size pieces and throw in a bowl, do the same with the avocado and onion, then a splash of olive oil and the juice of half a lemon and some salt n pepper.
Heat up a fry-pan so it is super hot, olive oil and salt n pepper on the steaks just before cooking, and then throw them on, 3-4 minutes either side until cooked to your liking, alright take the steaks off and put them on a plate to rest, cover with foil.
In the same pan whack in a tablespoon of butter and then throw in the mushrooms and garlic. Then fry that up for a couple of minutes, then put in the tablespoon of cornflour, mix it round, then add the beef stock and some more butter and stir until it thickens up. Season, done.
Spoon your salad mixture onto a bed of lettuce, then put on your steak and baked potato and spoon over mushroom gravy. Garlic butter goes well on the potato too.
Fun fact No36- I think rapes funny... when it’s a dolphin raping a guy.
